Eklin Digital X Ray (DR) systems: Similar to a digital camera, DR replaces conventional film-based x-rays, providing a faster, more accurate way to determine a patient’s specific medical issues. Digital Xrays are used to diagnose bone and skeletal problems. Available within seconds to be viewed on a high-resolution monitor, the digital image eliminates the need to develop film and use processing chemicals. The images can be manipulated and enhanced to assure better diagnosis, but not changed. Our digital system provides the highest level of digital image and digital image management available today for excellence in radiology and information needs.

Digital UltraSound
Our new Pico Digital Ultrasound provides non-invasive digital diagnostics of soft tissue problems; ligaments, tendons, eyes and all manner of lumps and bumps. Linked with the digital X-ray system, we are able to store, send and print images for diagnosing and consulting.
Computerized Medical Records
Sierra Equine veterinarians maintain electronic medical records in their trucks, for each patient. Everything from lab results to vaccination records are recorded in your horse’s file. Veterinarians are able to administer consistent treatment and to provide you with a record of all veterinary care. We include any special sensitivities or allergic reactions your horse may have, so please let us know.
